State Baskets

Join your Frenchie friends in making the 2008 STATE BASKETS the best ever!   This fun event will help boost the club's treasury so that we can continue to work for the benefit of our breed.

WHAT IS A STATE / REGIONAL BASKET?   

A CONTAINER of some sort (need not be an actual basket). SUCH AS
    an ice chest
    dog crate
    dog bed
    Vermont maple sap bucket
    treasure chest
    tote bag
    storage container
    tub...
    LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD!!!

STUFF made in, or typical of, your state or region (or country), SUCH AS
•    Edibles and Drinkables:  wines from everywhere; smoked salmon from the northwest, maple syrup from the northeast, salsas from the southwest.
•    Dog related items are always good; biscuits, collars and leads, beds and bowls, TOYS.
•    Craft items and other products made in your state, books, DVDs of films set in or about your state (Fargo, Oklahoma!, Twister), nothing is off limits!
•    Tickets for hard-to-get events (Dallas Cowboys game, anyone?)

WHO PROVIDES THEM, AND HOW?

•    ANY individual, group of people, or regional club can donate a basket.
•    Each state/region wishing to participate should have a basket coordinator; if your state does not appear on the list below, please volunteer as its coordinator.
•    If your state is listed below, contact the person listed as basket coordinator to see how you can help.

Your Chamber of Commerce or State Tourism Bureau may have things to contribute, or their websites might give you some ideas about what fun things to include.
