Competing in Conformation

The American Kennel Club website   http://www.akc.org/events/conformation/  will provide you with the rules and regulations about how to get started showing your dog.

You should also take your dog to "conformation class" if possible, and you should attend some dog shows and observe carefully  how people and dogs are expected to behave in the show ring. 

Your breeder may be able to help you, or may be able to help you find a mentor to get you started.
