The Many Wonders of Kansas!

The Time/Life series on The Old West says  "...by 1880 the dirt farmers had become so adamant about the longhorn-bred Texas fever that practically all Kansas was off limits to the trail herds.  Confronted in 1885 by a Winchester blockade of short- tempered border guards, a drover delivered himself of a sarcastic order that eventually became a slogan for trail bosses on the long drive:  'Bend' em West, boys.  Nothing in Kansas anyhow except the three suns---sunflowers, sunshine and those sons of bitches.' "

BUT THAT WAS IN 1885!!!

We now know, of course, that the 'sons of bitches' most likely referred to the Dog classes.

Today, Kansas boasts some fabulous tourist attactions that you will never see in any other state!  Here are just a few you may wish to include on your 2008 Kansas Odyssey!

Enjoy your travels!

Special Needs

French Bulldogs have special needs and are not for everyone.  Living with them is not the same as looking at them and admiring them.  See whether this is the breed for you.
